Great nursery, friendly staff, happy children!

Kingsmead Day Nursery

Gordon House/Gordon Rd, Winchester SO23 7DD, UK – 01962 862266

I cannot say enough good things about Kingsmead. Our little one absolutely loves going there and we can see how well taken care of he is there. All the ladies there are well-trained, attentive, caring, and clearly genuinely love what they do. They have big open play areas both inside and out, lots of toys and books, and keep the kids well fed. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

We could not be more pleased with our experience at Kingsmead. Our son has been there for a year and a half, starting at just 6 months old. They were so kind about letting me come often to settle him in before his actual start date and have taken such wonderful care of him since then. He loves it there. We wish somehow we could pick up Kingsmead & move it with us back to the States!

Such an amazing place! We had bad experience with the previous nursery so it wasn't easy for us as a parents and for our son to try another place. As soon as my son started his session's there, he fall in love with it! Massive thank you to all staff and Manager for all your job! You guys are brilliant!

The Westgate School

Amazing school, great variety of opportunities. The Prefect system was wonderful: all Prefects are treated with the utmost of respect and the ties are SUBLIME. The Westgate School has raised up many pupils and each of their successes only serves to reflect the brilliance and values of The Westgate All-Through School - Learning Together: Achieving Excellence. We moved back to Hampshire in 2017 after living in Dubai for many years and our daughter needed a school place in Year 5. She was fortunate enough to be offered a place at Kings Worthy Primary School. Thanks to the excellent support of the teachers and the friendly welcome she received from everyone she has settled very quickly into school life in the UK and is very happy.

Caring staff who really know our children, fantastic outside space and lots of creative learning opportunities. Who could want any more for their children? A lovely school with a great educational track record of academic and personal achievement. We are delighted and very grateful that our children have all been able to attend this school.

Western is a really special school. There are newer and better equipped schools. So, what makes Western special? The sense of community, the academic achievement without undue pressure, the huge amount of outside space, the staff and, above all, the happy and confident children

Winchester College

College St, Winchester SO23 9NA, UK – 01962 621100

We went on a pre booked private tour but you can go online to their website or walk past & see if there's a board outside with info. Outside photos only none allowed inside because it's still a school. Lots of history going back centuries & a lot to do with the wars as this school lost a lot of old pupils.

Interesting though I wish I had asked more questions.
